We run a business directory for Ashley Ward, which connects residents to local businesses.
If you are a business in Ashley Ward (St Pauls, Montpelier, St Werburghs) or close by, we can list you on the directory for free. All you have to do is give our members a 10% discount (it can be more than 10% if you want!).
The idea of this scheme is to encourage people to ‘shop local’, whilst also supporting the magazine. It is a fantastic opportunity to boost local income, establish closer connections with the people nearest to your business and encourage people to shop within their community.
Please contact us if you would like your business included in the directory!
Food and drink
Door & Rivet is a Cafe in Stokes Croft, that supports not just employees, but also the local community. They have two initiatives. Firstly, the Family Through Food Campaign - promotes the importance of home cooked food eaten communally with friends and family. Which focuses on hosting cooking sessions with youth and community groups to encourage under privileged children from marginalised communities to socialise through food. Secondly, the Access To The Arts program - which will engage the local creative community by providing discounts on food and drink, while providing a free meeting, and community space for Artists in the local community. The program will use funds to commission art and enable the local creative culture of Bristol reach it full potential.
As part of their obligation to support the local community, Door and Rivet can provide a 10% discount to members of Vocalise.
A big family venture was launched to give birth to our small, warm and independent cafe nestling in the heart of the very much vibrant Gloucester road, home to many weird wonders. RONAK’s concentration has always been on serving out-standing coffee & specialist teas while creating very yummy feel-good food with ingredients sourced from ethical and local suppliers.
In order to support the local community, Ronak can offer a 10% discount to members of Vocalise.
