Have you ever wanted to know more about the police service?
Are you interested in finding out about what jobs and career opportunities we have for you?
Discovery workshops are coming to a venue near you – come and join us.
You, your family and friends are invited to come and talk to our Inclusion and Diversity team about what it is like to be a police officer and what the next steps are if you would like to apply. PC Kris Harris, Inclusion and Diversity team officer, said: “We are holding these events so that you can come and talk to us if you would like to join the police service but you don’t know where to start.
“Even if you have never considered a career policing, but you want to find out a bit more about what it involves, how much you can earn, what kind of career opportunities and benefits there…then this event is for you.
“Policing is a challenging, interesting, varied career and we want a diverse workforce that represents all the communities we serve.
“We want to talk to you openly about our organisation and give you an insight into what a career in policing involves, as well as a chance to ask questions.”
