The opportunity will be there for others to speak too.If you would like to be involved in any way, please contact SUTR Bristol.
The Empire Windrush Mural Campbell Street is a space that celebrates the remarkable contribution of African and Caribbean men and women to this country. They played a key role in the building of the NHS, the Armed Forces and the construction of motorways.Facing continual racism and barriers they maintained public services and communities across the UK.
Stand together to demand full UK citizens rights, recognise the damage caused by the disgraceful approach of the government, support and defend the absolute right of the Windrush generation and their offspring, to be at the heart of any society that claims its democratic, diverse and just.
Demand an immediate end to government racist immigration legislation and actions that bully and frighten our elders and the community.
