Two Character Play by Tennessee Williams @ Alma Tavern Theatre

March 5 @ 8:00 pm - March 16 @ 10:00 pm

Presented by Red Rope Theatre

“My most beautiful play since Streetcar, the very heart of my life.”

Red Rope Theatre, the critically acclaimed company responsible for the sell-out Gothic Horrors ‘Dracula’,’The Turn of the Screw’ & ‘Frankenstein’ at Arnos Vale Cemetery, the 5 star Tour of ‘Two Way Mirror’ and the 5 star Bristol based production of ‘A Taste of Honey’, are back at The Alma Tavern Theatre. This time they bring with them a tale of mental collapse in a world where reality and fantasy are interwoven with terrifying power.

“To play with fear is to play with fire. No, worse, much worse, than playing with fire. Fire has limits. But fear…”

A brother and sister, two actors on tour, have been deserted by their troupe and find themselves alone in a decrepit theatre.
They begin to enact ‘The Two Character Play’ – an illusion within an
illusion that hasn’t been finished and can’t be remembered.
