One Tree Per Child

One Tree Per Child

Over the next 4 years the One Tree Per Child team aim to plant 6000 trees per year, working with primary school aged children in Bristol. This winter the community events programme will be planting trees in parks and green space across the city, including new woodlands, hedgerows, and individual trees. There will also be new trees planted in primary schools creating spaces for outdoor learning. The planting will begin again from November onwards, so for the time being the team have an exciting volunteer programme which concentrates on maintaining existing sites.
Volunteer training is being run over the next few months for new and existing volunteers to help maintain and plant thousands of trees across the city. Now is the time to join in and to get involved in a rewarding and enjoyable project.
