Spaces free for the Introduction to Care course at St Pauls Learning Centre starting next week.
Tue 12th- Fri 15th December 9.30am – 3.30pm
This short course is run over four full days, 9.30am-3.30pm, and looks at different roles available within care work. This is an opportunity to learn care based health and safety rules and build skills to identify equipment used in care role whilst supporting individuals to build confidence in communication skills with clients and peers. Learners who achieve at E3 may be signposted to our L1 Award in Health and Social Care, January 2018.
The course will cover:
· Roles available in Care, looking at opportunities in the job market.
· Health and Safety rules to build confidence within the workplace.
· Identifying equipment used within care, basic knowledge to start a new role with relative awareness of expectations on care provision.
· Building communications skills, to better support clients and work well with colleagues as a united team.
All confidence building skills to support individuals succeed in their application as they work towards a role in care.
